Jurnal INFOST (Jurnal Informatika Sains dan Teknologi)

Jurnal INFOST (Jurnal Informatika Sains dan Teknologi) is a research publication media published by the Institute of Technology and Health Science PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta and managed under the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). Therefore, this journal adheres to the Journal Editor’s Code of Ethics and Best Practice Guidelines as well as the Journal Publisher’s Code of Ethics.

The following statement describes the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the process of publishing an article in Jurnal INFOST (Jurnal Informatika Sains dan Teknologi).

Authorship & Contributors

Authorship

The recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE Recommendations 2018) for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publishing of Scholarly Work are applied in Jurnal INFOST (Jurnal Informatika Sains dan Teknologi). Authorship should be based on the following four criteria:

  1. Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data; AND

  2. Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content; AND

  3. Final approval of the version to be published; AND

  4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

In addition to being responsible for their own contributions, each author should be able to identify which co-authors are responsible for specific parts of the work. Authors must also have confidence in the integrity of their co-authors’ contributions.

Contributors

Jurnal INFOST (Jurnal Informatika Sains dan Teknologi) includes only one corresponding author per article. Detailed information regarding author contributions (e.g., equal contributions) should be clearly stated in the contributor section or acknowledgment section at the end of the article.

Post-Publication Discussion and Corrections

Jurnal INFOST (Jurnal Informatika Sains dan Teknologi) welcomes discussions and corrections of published articles from readers.

Readers who wish to submit discussions or corrections may contact the Editor-in-Chief via email with a clear explanation of the matter. If accepted by the Editor-in-Chief, the discussion or correction will be published in the subsequent issue as a Letter to the Editor.

Authors are given the opportunity to respond to readers’ discussions or corrections by submitting a reply to the Editor-in-Chief. The response may be published as a Reply Letter to the Editor.
