The prevalence of postpartum blues in Indonesia ranges from 50% to 70%, with estimates indicating that 5% to 25% of postpartum mothers experience this condition. Husbands play a unique role as the first individuals to notice changes in their wives and interact with them frequently. Their support is crucial for wives coping with stress, particularly in situations beyond their control. The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of educational interventions on husbands' knowledge and behaviors regarding postpartum blues in their wives. This research employed a quasi-experimental design, utilizing both pre- and post-test measurements. Participants were the husbands of postpartum mothers, selected through a purposive sampling technique. The study took place at the Gambirsari Surakarta Health Center. Two measurements were conducted: an initial assessment (pretest) and a follow-up assessment (post test) after the educational intervention. The variables examined included husbands' knowledge and attitudes toward postpartum blues. A questionnaire was used to gauge their knowledge and attitudes. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test. Results showed a statistically significant improvement in husbands' knowledge about postpartum blues, with a change score of -5.52 and a p value of 0.000. Additionally, there was a statistically significant change in husbands' attitudes toward postpartum blues, with a change score of -5.53 and a p value of 0.000.
